What is the minimum score to pass?

Is it

1. 70% absolute (i.e. 168/240)
2. 70 percentile
3. any other method?

i dont think its been released
just give it ur best shot, and that's all u can do
who cares if u end up in 60's or 70's
as long as u pass

From what I have read on CFAI site, it gives me an impression that it is 70 percentile.

If it were absolute 70, they would not take almost 2 months to disclose results!

Also, by keeping it in percentile, they have control on number of candidates entering and exiting the program at each level.

So guys, keep your confidence level up and go into the exam with a positive frame of mind.

It could not be 70th percentile

Otherwise only 30% of the people would pass every time.

It used to be, they took the top scorer, and set the passing rate at 70% absolute of that score.

Through my CFALA review class, I've been told that 70% raw score is a definite pass. You get 70/100, you're in. There are passing rates below that figure, but the margin is undisclosed.
