Decimal places for the exam

Is there a standard amount of decimal places that we have to set our calculators to for the exam? I feel like I read somewhere that it should be 2 but that's been limiting a lot of my calculations. Any input will be great. Thanks.

I would hope that they wouldn't have 2 answer choices that are off by only a decimal point or two, but I could be wrong. You should be able to get an answer close enough where you can easily identify the right one (even if it's off from your calculation by a couple decimal points). I usually use 3 or 4, and so far no problems with finding the right answer on any practice questions.

i would set it to 4. i saw many answers in EOC with 4 decimal places.

four

and one thing: for calculations, sometimes you make mistakes and the answer you get is still among the given choices, that's what you have to watch out for
