It doesn't hurt to memorize the headers of the ethics standards. I got one question wrong recently because I forgot that Referral Fees was under Conflicts of Interest (not one of the 'duties...')
God, it's a painful read. I did it today as a refresher. I remember cfacowtown saying it wasn't that bad. Well, you sir, are a sick individual if you enjoyed that read.
