calculate vs compute in LOS

numbers, required, difference
Does anyone know what the difference is? Are we required to "crunch the numbers" for LOS's that say "compute."

Essentially same
From LOS Command words:

"Compute: To determine, especially by mathematical means."
"Calculate: To ascertain or determine by mathematical processes."
