Most unbeleiveable Result..

subjects, totally, friend, result
I have Seen a result of my friend and that was the Most unbelievable result i have everrrrrr seen and it is

alternative < 50
quantitative 50-70

and rest of all the 8 subjects are above 70+ how can it be a Band 10

i was shocked totally and u will too...

Assuming this person barely got >70% in the 8 subjects and did horribly in the two above, it's quite easy to believe:

Let's say:

AI 2/8
Quant 15/28

Deriv 9/12
PM 9/12
CF 15/20

FSA 34/48
Equity 17/24
Ec. 17/24
FI 20/28
Ethics 26/36

Total score 164/240 = 68.3333%

Assuming MPS was 69%, he would have failed.

True - this gives an idea that MPS was really higher than our thoughts

weird, b/c my results weren't much better, in fact they were worse, yet i passed...

alt <50
quant, corp fin, ethics 50-70
all else 70+

There is a BIG difference between a 71 and a 100 in a large topic. The 70+ bracket just doesnt tell us enough.

Agreed!

You guys are wasting your time working through all these permutations. The intervals are too broad. It won't change anything anyway! Hard as it may be.. its best to move on
