Advice to Level 1 Candidates
I just wanted to share my experiences with all of you if that may help. I am completely non finance and work in IT. I was good at mathematics in engineering college (6 years ago) so I guess that helped me to grasp these totally new subjects.
I started with books by CFA but them moved to Study material from Sweser completely. That was good and concise. I did not complete all the quizzes from Sweser but I solved almost all the questions in the CFA book. Remember Quizzes are very important.
I studied a lot in 4 months (I work full time) after work and weekends. Reading thru Sweser again and again was very important since I forgot a lot of things. For me most difficult was Accounting and I was guessing I might fail since I did badly in that portion but I guess I was lucky. Good luck. |
