I want to open my own business..but only after some good experience..or I would like to work for some institution like SEC or WorldBank..no corporate life for too long

But I wonder... will the fundamental and technical knowledge you acquire from the CFA really help you in managing portfolio once you obtain the CFA charter? Will what you know of stock valuation be superior to other non-CFA charters that you will be able to better manage assets and be better at it than others??

I'm genuinely curious, because it seems as though CFA is a career booster on paper, much like the MBA.
