Commodity Exchange

receive, resources, discovery, ask, interested
Ok this is a tough one my uncle ask me about. He works for our central bank back home and is interested in set up a brand new commodity exchange to allow price discovery for our natural resources and help farmers receive a competitive price for their crops.

I have read about some emerging markets set up similar exchanges but have no clue where to get info or where to even ask/start to get some guidance. Anyone know where I can find some info?

where is your uncle based?
India has a couple of commodity exchanges. But dont know if the regulatory setup in your uncle's country would be similar. Should help to check these out though.

NCDEX and MCX.

Ivory Coast..we are #1 producer of cocoa. So his goal is to set up and exchange for farmers to allow price discovery and a fair price, which they are not getting right now...what a shame
