As you've seen from specimen contract. We require payment by confirmed, irrevocable L/C payable against presentation of shipping documents.

I'm sorry that you insist on payment by L/C. Could you make an exception in our case and accept D/P or D/A? As you know, securities, pricing and risk management is the major factor in  the financial world. Without fully understanding above mentioned ingriedent, we can do nothing, even a single step.

Payment by l/c is our usual practice of doing business with all customers for such commodities, especially with new customers. If we make an exception here, we can't know where to stop. Besides, our price is very competitive and I don't think you'll have any difficulty in the sales.
