Booke 2 Page 74  请教大家如何理解这个defense呢？不太明白以下这段话：

 

The “single prediction” defence—Although the conditions of the forecast were met, and the outcome never came close to occurring and now never will, this failure shouldn’t be held against the framework/view that inspired it, the “everyone knows (or should know) that forecasting is pointless” view. Thus the analysis is valid, but the act of forecasting was flawed.
