Wow, no problems discussing test answers.

I've read all of this with great interest. If you go over to the Level 1 forum, you'll notice that everybody there appears to know something a lot of people here don't - which is not to post on the recent test.

Scenario A: Nothing happens w/probability of 95%

Scenario B: CFAI rolls in and decides to do an in-depth investigation into CFA Code of Ethics violation w/probability of 5%.

Outcome to scenario A: my scores stay the same.

Outcome to scenario B: My score is voided and I am banned from the CFAI for life.

Question: What type of discount should I apply in this situation?

PS: Candidate pledge provided for reference:

"After this exam, I will not disclose any portion of this exam and I will not remove any exam materials from the testing room in original or copied form. I understand that all exam materials, including my answers, are the property of CFA Institute and will not be returned to me in any form. "

for the first case: those two were stupid enough to compile an excel sheet w/ the QUESTIONS & ANSWERS... come on now...

for the 2nd: some dude posted comments on his blog DURING the exam session still in progress... (now that's asking for it).

(i'm just saying; dont read into this...)

The funny thing is, even though I felt good about the test and understood more than I didn't, there is no way I could recollect even 10% of the questions on the test let alone the answer choices. I figure that if I invest any energy or memory in trying to remember things during the test, there is the chance that some knowledge might escape my short- or medium-term memory.

as long as peoople didnt remove the answer sheets, or question booklets or anything else given to them at the test site, there is no violation.
it says is plain english in your pledge, you are not to remove any material from the test site.

discussion things that you have in your head, is freedom of speech. Unless you have a photographic memory and are able to reproduce questions and choices word for word, you are not violating the standard VII(A)

epic Truth-ness

Although SkipeE99 is trying hard to prevent the offenses being committed, I'd say it's a bit too hard. I mean what's the point of all this ? People were stupid enough to forget a pledge they signed and the censure that may ensue, what makes you think they'd heed your words of caution. Anyhow, it's good if it actually stops some of this madness.
