Optional Segment Ethics tested, material, purposes, anything, searching

I tried searching but could not come up with anything. For exam purposes, will we be tested in the optional segment of the readings on Ethics?

Reading 4 has many pages that are optional. Are these pages testable material?

it says optional....not testable

in the beginning of the cfai books they say that you can read it, but 'you will not be tested on it'
I did not read any optional stuff
