What's Your Subject Study Order? starting, before, decent, pretty, should

So what's your study order for this beasto and why? I'll start:



1. Corp Fin (Good starting off point since it's pretty easy for me and has a decent weighting)

2. Equity (Huge weighting, so I want to be able to devote a lot of time early to this)

3. Quant (Killed quant last year, so should be a nice break before FSA)

4. FSA (Destroyed me last year... Want to spend a lot of time on it this year)

5. Ethics (Another easy section with a big weighting, goo break after FSA)

6. FI (Next highest weighting)

7. Derivatives (Next Highest weighting)

8. Port Man (Killed it last year and low weighting)

9. Alt Investments (low weighting)

10. Econ (Got killed by it last year and low weighting... pretty much giving up on it)




This is my 2nd attempt at Level 2, btw. Made my study plan tonight, starting studying tomorrow.

I study randomly and in patches, depending on what seems 'interesting' to me. This is my 2nd attempt as well. The first attempt, I went through every section in order, in great detail and I was just a bit burnt out by the end and couldn't pull it all together. I was nailing some concepts, but became rusty in other areas. I'm trying to nail the 'why' down this time around, instead of ruthless repetition and heavy hours.

saving FSA for last. I hate FSA.

will study ethics to take a break from FSA at the end.

so far, I have read up on parts of Equity and also Derivatives

2nd time around for me as well. I'm studying my worst subjects first. I bombed Quant and FSA last year. If I had been just 50-70% on those sections I probably would have passed. I know the >70 section I listed very well and feel that those topic areas will be an easy review.
