Has it happened ever that your calculator died on exam day? How did you deal with it?

I didn't bring one for level one since it was essentially new.. i'm considering buying a backup to bring in for test day for level two this time

I take two -- my own 12C and a borrowed one. At one time (not during the exam), I had problems with keys sticking and had to return the calculator.

It's not worth it to take a chance on this.

I love people who bring extra batteries to the exam.
Seriously, you are gonna somehow unscrew the calculator, put in this new battery, and rescrew it in record time? While the exam is going on? Please.

Just buy a spare.
