Wealthy independent ability, except

Honour willingness as long as it is below or equal to ability -- except for the wealthy independent!

Why is this true? Maybe I missed this somewhere in the readings, but don't recall. Thanks!

I was wondering about this too. Normally I'd say since willingness is below ability, and the person is wealthy, label it as below average and educate the person....but who knows anymore.
