Ethics section

I attempted the CFAI's EOC on Ethhics application - The results have freaked me out. Out of the first 40 I got most of them right but the Item set questions from 41-64 I barely got 3 or 4 right !!!! Does any body else think the item set questions on Ethics are a lot more convoluted

dun worry buddy, u cant get ethics right in one night.
keep doing them every day.
plus, you got the first 40 points!

they are certainly tricky...but doable....

I'm doing the CFA mock this weekend.

Question:

Are all the ethics mock (and proposed exam Q's) like the end of the ethics EOC vignettes questions (41-64)?

Should I just ignore my perfect 100% on the first 40 Q's and use 41-64 as a measure of my ethics knowledge level? etc.

I got the first 48 questions 100% correct, then flubbed the last 15 by only getting 50% right. I've not studied 1 iota for ethics so far, I'm just wondering how worried I should be.

wow .... this makes matters much worse for me ... Anyways

I went through the same phase in Ethics about a week ago. The key with Ethics is repitition. I've done the whole Standards 3 times now, and am much more comfortable.

The more number of times you do it, the better you'll get. You have enough time, even if you allocate 1 hr per day till the exam, you'll be peachy. Just do a little everyday. It's also a good break from other topics.

iginla: did you bother w/ the case studies (glenarm, etc.) or just read the short examples in the cfai text? the latter seems the best method.

I hope the same .. in the second CFAI case lets I 4 incorrect !! .. The remaining case lets were still managable. But on a comparative note the Schweser practise exams have easier ethics questions. I have a feeling they wont be as tough as the toughest CFAI caselets. But yes as they all say everday 45 mins shud do the trick, if uve been thru them once decently

I haven't done any of the case studies at all. I need to get on it.
I only concentrated on the Standards, Soft Dollars, and the reading on Prudence.
