negative risk free rate

between, difference, positive

in hedge fund index, it says the benchmark is positive risk free rate, but what's the difference between postive risk free rate and risk free rate, is there any negative risk free rate?

is it emerging market rate? why invest in emerging market, country risk premium is one side risk? no upside ?

There is no such thing as a negative risk free rate. That would be an "assured loss" rate, not a risk-free rate!
