Who only used CFAI curriculum and passed? only, experience, previous, register

Hi, congratulations to those who passed level 3.
I am about to register for level 3 exam.
I have used Stalla for previous 2 exams, but I am really tight on my budget this time.
So, please share your experience if you only used CFAI curriculum.
What was your strategy?

I used CFAI books only.

Took notes while reading. ( very important for revisions )
Did all EOC problems and examples. (at least 2 times)
Previous years exams ( google to get previous years exams )

I did for I, II & III. Only additional prep was secret sauce, quicksheet. For I & II I made my own flash cards which was helpful 1) to solidify the info by writing it and 2) for review. For III the flash cards didn't seem to work as well w/ the topics so I ended up just taking notes after finishing my first read. Also, lots of mock exams at the end and EOC questions.

For I I used Stalla (videos and study guides) exclusively

For II I used CFAI books (which I did not finish two, so just read EOC summary/problems)

For III I used CFAI books (same, last two books I didn't have time to read so I read the EOC summary and did the problems), but did the Creighton boot camp.


If I were to recommend to someone, I would do CFAI (making own flash cards) and Creighton boot camp. Cost would probably be about the same (stalla/schweser vs Creighton boot camp).
