NDRC website promulgated 20 researches and industrialized projects of broadband and network services on Nov 19 which focused on TD technical equipment and its application as well as development and industrialization of core equipment of broadband and its relevant technology.

New broadband and network service projects had stepped into implementation stage
Premier Wen Jiabao presided at the meeting of State Council Standing Committee on Dec 26, 2007 and passed the significant special project implementation plan of new broadband wireless mobile communication, water pollution control and treatment and important new drug inspiration. 
The implementation plan of new broadband wireless mobile communication was one the sixteen important special projects. The project target is to strengthen research and development of key technology and industrialization support in broadband communication field, cultivate proprietary intellectual property rights system, master relevant nuclear technology, eliminate technical bottleneck and promote informationized application and information service development.
The 20 research and industrialized projects of new broadband and network service marked an implementation stage of new communication technology research and application.
The special projects helped to boost industrialization of TD technical standard.
The involved TD technology includes TD-based TCL MBMS GGTV, Potevio TD-SCDMS HSUPA system device, Huatsing TD-SCDMA IC Ratio Frequency IC Part which touches upon nuclear devices of TD industry chain, system devices and TD mobile terminal. The implementation of special projects will perfect TD industry chain which will occupy the important position in the industry.
