[讨论]consumer surplus willing, price, value

我是一菜鸟，求教一economics的问题
在官方今年的教材第40页上讲到consumer surplus，但是我却发现他的定义和其他版本的定义有很大差别
官方写的是A consumer surplus is the value of a good minus the price paid for it, summed over the quantity bought
但是其他的材料却写is the price willing to pay minus the price paid for it...
不解啊。感觉官方的材料说不通

在同一页，图3，（liza买pizza的例子当中）
为什么在计算consumer surplus的时候要除2？（见附图）
