Support Text for Economics component of CFA I exam recommend, official, starting

Hi CFA’ers
I am few weeks away from the completion of my finance undergraduate degree. I have given alot thought to starting the CFA journey. As far as CFA 1 exam goes can anyone recommend a good support text for the Economics side of things that will go well with the official text.

hey James, lots of people on here (me included) have been using Elan guides, they are pretty good i think. check out their website, they sell their study notes for each section separately so you could just buy the eco ones.
The other popular option is Schweser, I haven’t used their stuff so i’m not sure how good it is, but would be worth checking out their website too.

You can try PARKIN 8th Edition. It has the extra basic chapters for someone without Econ background. Mind you, the Econ book of CFAI takes all its chapters from this book so most of the material is the same.
