I’m trying to make a list of what needs to be written and what has to be verbal for the ethics section. These questions should be give me questions in my mind. Can ppl please verify / add other topics i’m missing?
In Writing:
Additional Compensation (Consent must be in writing as well)
Disclosure of conflicts
Starting a new company and talking to clients while still at old job
Verbal:
Gifts
Referral Fees
Changing Investment Strategy
Nothing:
Preparing to start new company while still at old job
Expense paid trip for a sell side analyst (although best practice is to disclose)
I know there are topics i’m missing so any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

humility always regarding the profession, when dealing with clients, employers, investment performance
seriously, i have to get back the FSA
