Hi Evryone
I haven’t started my prep and feeling very diffident of passing it this time. Want to take it in june 2011. Can i postpone the exam? Will i get refund of my fee?
Can anyone post URL of the cfai website pages related to this topic?

No you wont. A colleague in my office send CFA an email and they refused.

Bad news though… i see myself sinking..
The big question is : Should i throw good money after bad one?? by traveling to give an exam that i am underprepared for.

I was signed up for L2 last year and couldn’t take it. In hindsight, I wish I sat through the exam to get a feel for the vignettes, etc. If you have the time I would recommend it.

I am in the same boat…starting today…but I would take the exam…worst would be that I won’t pass…at least i will have some material covered for 2011 xam…)
Unless of course you have to spend a fortune to travel to take the exam!

Even if you do not feel well prepared, sitting through the actual exam is a valuable experience.

I sat for the exam last year and failed it. At that time, I thought I would hit the books in September and be prepared for it in June. Guess what? I haven’t touched any CFA stuff at all! I will sit for the exam, but hoping to get back on the exam track any day now!
