Scheduling for CFA level 1 studying, started, figure

I have just started studying for Leve1 ( giving it in Dec 2008) but i am going too slow. I have heard that we must put in 250 hours and i have no clue how this figure comes up. Can come one share their time scheduling with me. (Hours allotted for each session). This way i can mark myself to some guidelines.
