Quick question….
CFAI Pg. 525-548
LOS states nothing about calculations, even says candidates are NOT responsible for deriving or memorizing formulas in section 4 to 6.
But then at end of chapter practice problems, all it is is calculations? anyone shed some light on what there looking for here…
The less formulas I need to memorize at this point the better, brain is getting fried.

For purposes of the actual exam, the LOS spells out exactly what you need to know. They test you in the back because they’re just summarizing the entire reading. The official exam will turn on the LOS’s and thats it.
This reminds me of L1; without being specific, there were portions in the quant sections that got very detailed in the EOC’s but the official exam didn’t require nearly as much.
