Is 5 months enough time to study for Level I CFA?

I have a CPA so the material isn’t entirely unfamiliar. Is 5 months enought time to cover everything if I’m only able to devote around 2 hours/day from here on out?
Also, I haven’t received any of the material yet.

Yes.
5 months = 150 days
2hrs/day * 150 days = 300 hours
300 hours 250 hours recommended by CFAI

good luckif you go by 250 hours you should be a genius….I suggest you spend at least another hour a day…even if you have your accounting background

250 hrs is plenty for L1 (unless you are totally new to the topics). You are golden. Go for it.

some people on here recommend studying for double that but its about quality not quantity. imo youll be fine with 250hrs.

Thanks everyone for the advice.

if the CPA material is still fresh in your mind, i think 3 months is enough. I spent very little time on the FSA section, it’s much easier than the FAR section of the CPA. You still need to put in 250 hours though to pass the exam.
