Scrapped questions completely, method

Presuming 5% of questions are scrapped under the Angloff method, does every candidate get credited for these questions or are they removed completely?

Every candidate will get credit for that question, pretty sure about that. Just read that from CFAI’s document

when a question is deemed unfair/unclear/too hard, every candidate will get credit for a correct response.
if a question is discovered to have multiple correct answers, every correct answer will be given a correct mark.

So if you somehow had it right from the beginning, you are penalized by the adjustment since the average score will go up but yours wont…

but also think about it this way. The question was deemed to be so difficult that people that got it right, most likely got it as a fluke. So actually, a small percentage got it ‘right’ and of those that got it right, an even smaller percentage actually knew how to get to the right answer. Yes it is unfair to those that knew how to calc it but the mass majority would have gotten it wrong, and the MPS is relative to the pool.
