GIPS under Ethics. Worth reading from CFAI? only, document, reading, painful

Can someone shed light on why the Schweser notes only devote 4 pages to GIPS while the CFAI notes have nearly 100 pages for the same topic? The CFAI notes on this topic read like a legal document with clauses and sub-clauses under each section. Seems like it would be painful to read but more so unreasonable to memorize.
Is it worth reading all of this or are bulk of questions in the Ethics section from the first section on Code of Conduct? Will I be doomed in this section if I only read the 4 pages on GIPS from the Schweser notes? Thanks!

Study with the CFAI books. Is it worth getting these questions wrong when it is one of the easiest topic in the curriculum ? Do not forget that a very large part of this reading is optional and that only small parts are required for level 1.

I think that they can dumb it down quite a bit, CFAI goes crazy in depth but like ethics, you just need to adopt the “mindset”, or something like that.

Reading Ethics and GIPS from CFAI is a must.
