the assumption is that new firm will enter into the market to earn profits, 。。。。。。。。。。。。
开始的那句，in a perfectly competitive market ,a firm will not earn economic profits for any significant period time 。 是什么意思，怎么理解，想不通哦

我个人理解是，在perfectly competitive market, 边际利润为0，无任何潜在机会收益，所以firms will not earn economic profits
