我来开个北美level 3帖子。。。。。要不看到国内考的，内容都对不上，呵呵。。。。

我也想讨论，可看了国内人的讨论之后头都昏了，已经不知道是我看错了题还是题目不一样。就记得选optimization／stratified／full replication那题我斟酌很久选了full replication，因为记得做sample时有一个很像的题目

应该是full replication的，只有300个holdings，1000个holdings一下都建议用full replication的，300个的transaction cost对于大的index来说，并不很多，如果cost是only concern，那直接买一个最省钱。而且只有300个holdings，用stratified sampling很可能导致超过了持股上限的规定。

i remember asked which following is violation

a. calculation of IRR

b. construction composite(文章中提到including all close ended fund with *** and vintage year)

c. ****about net fee

话说那天考试，旁边的老美好牛，早晨提前20分钟做完了，翻着细细检查，瞄一下写得工工整整，而我正在挥汗如雨赶路，字迹自己都不忍心看，呵呵。希望不会因为写得乱七八糟扣分吧。

mine was 7171 as well.

By the way, are we allowed to discuss questions in the exam? Last year they actually caught some people doing it and they were punished...

CFA pending绝对是一个灾难性的说法
另外那个GIPS的，应该是选net of fee的那个选项，因为那里说net of transaction fee，应该是只有management fee的

有道题，说hedge currency risk by entering forward. Local return 5%. Both spot price and fwd price increased 5%. Asking domestic return. What are the choices? I only remember A:5%.

这个应该不是5%，我和我邻座后来讨论来着。他只hedge了面值没有利息，我是用non-hedge和hedge的return算出来的，忘了什么答案。。。大家可以去analystforum看，那里的人已经讨论出好些选择题。。。
