A distribution with a mean of 10 and a range of 2 to 25 would be:

The distance to the left from the mean to the beginning of the range is 8. The distance to the right from the mean to the end of the range is 15. Therefore, the distribution is skewed to the right, which means that it is positively skewed.
if mean is closer to left, it is positively skewed while closer to right is negative skewed???

如果skewed to the right，是positively skewed，或者计算skewness来确定
