While you all were taking the L1, I was chugging away on the IELTS Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking modules all day at the Rutgers exam center.
After Level I, who's studying for Level II, and who's studying for GMAT / GRE instead?
I am leaning towards Level II but not sure yet.作者: kmf229 时间: 2011-7-11 15:22
I was thinking that if I pass L1 I was going to take a CFA break and study for the GMAT.
However, I realized that it would make more sense to take L2 immediately to have a base level of L2 knowledge (knowing that I would fail L2). Then in the year preceding L2.2 I would study for the GMAT for 3 months, take that in Nov, then begin prepping for L2 in December 2010

GMAT is a completely different beast. You cannot prepare GMAT with L2. I scored a 760 in the GMAT and trust me it requires about 3 months of dedicated preparation. GMAT is a computer adaptive test wherein you cant come back to a question at the end of the exam. Your responses to a question decides your score as you move along.
