While doing calculations for the CFA exam generally how many places decimals to you format to not miss selecting the correct choice?作者: dcfox83 时间: 2011-7-11 17:28
It's better to set to the 9 decimal place as default while doing the calculations, and even if you take the 2 decimal places you should get the correct answer since the answers are setup like that.作者: scr879 时间: 2011-7-11 17:28

I'm assuming that everyone knows there is a difference between the number of decimal places "displayed" on your calculator and the number of decimal places used "internally" within the calculator to arrive at an answer.
If you set the dp = 2 then internally the calculator continues to use 9 dp (not sure exactly - check the manual) when performing the calculations and simply rounds the result to 2 dp when displaying the answer.作者: Flok 时间: 2011-7-11 17:28

Very good advice. I got to know those buttons real well doing all three levels of the program.
