I don't believe so. I think there is no use for fundamental analysis at the semi-strong level but there is still use for it at the weak level of efficient market hypothesis.

Hey guys

Quick question,

If I believe in the weak is their value added by doing fundamental analysis or no? I know tech doesn't add value for weak and for semi, fundamental isn't suppose to add value.

Thanks

yeah that is what I was leaning towards, I have been getting smoked on these on all the mocks. Need to get it razor sharp for the exam.

I agree with EastCoastJ - in other words, fundamental analysis does add value under the Weak Form of EMH.

Investopedia says: "...weak form efficiency advocates assert that fundamental analysis can be used to identify stocks that are undervalued and overvalued..."

I think it might be more accurate to use the term private information instead of insider information. The rest of the analysis is spot on.

basically you just made a TON of reach so much simpler... Thanks!
