what about the EOC questions that are out of scope of some LOSes?

Its really important to solve as many CFAI questions as you can including EOC, CFAI sample exam and CFAI mock exam. Even if you think that some questions are out of scope, you should attempt them and go through the solution to clear the concepts. You'll see that the real exam is closely related to these CFAI questions in terms level of difficulty and testing style.
