ALL - short question about essay grading. Assume in the exam, a question asks to point out ONE reason for a specific conclusion. If I wrote two or more reasons and one of them is correct, while the others are wrong. Will the full marks be given? It has been worrying me for a long time. Thanks for any feedback!作者: cityboy 时间: 2011-7-13 06:56
If they ask for only one reason- the grader will ONLY look at the first reason you put down and then stop reading. If that is the correct one- score. If that is not the correct one- no points, even if your second reason is correct.作者: mar350 时间: 2011-7-13 07:07
smokin'hot is correct. Only the first answer will be graded. When one reason is asked and you think there are two reasons possible, mention the one you are most sure of.

Yeah, it would be best if you can just write something and the grader tries to find something in there that makes sense to give you full credit.
But thats not the way it is.作者: mik82 时间: 2011-7-13 07:41
giving two answers would mean you are not confident on the the first one.
