The answer says that SPE consolidation causes Assets and Equity to increase. But doesn't SPE consolidation cause Assets and Liabilities to increase. Ref: CFAI Book 2 Page 163. Is it that if the SPE was financed with Equity financing instead of debt financing, that Equity would increase? But it doesn't specify so in the question.
