I only have 28 months out of 48 approved. DANG! !!!

So what wording can I use in profile/resume ?

" I have passed all 3 levels of the CFA program and currently obtaining the necessary work expereince needed to be granted the charter"

any other way I can say this to sound better ?

those 2 years after university as a "Client Account Representative" didnt count even though this was a suggested title on their wesbite.

What wording did you use, exactly?

Rework the description and resubmit -- there is a good chance it was rejected because of the wording/details, not because of the position itself.

I was thinking of saying:

Passed all three levels of CFA program; charter award pending completion of required work experience.

Wordy, but makes it clear to HR weenies that you're DONE with testing, don't use CFA as noun, etc.

Although on the CFA website, it very clearly has my name with CFA CANDIDATE after it, even though I'm not registered for a test right now... is that right?

'Passed all three levels of the CFA program and may be eligible for the CFA charter upon completion of the required work experience.'

^+1 That is exactly how I have written it on my CV.

I dithered over "may be eligible" as I really wanted to write "will be eligible", but in the end I decided CFAI 's recommendation was the safest approach.

Thanks,

The rejected reason was " Further details required" I phoned them and they said to keep re-submitting. Here we go round 2....

Hi guys - If you have to re-submitted your application (eg due to too brief a work experience description), does your supervisor and sponsor also have to fill the sponsors forms again? Thanks.

re submitted and approved.

i did some searching on the forums and found this to help quite a bit:

break down your activities by %'s listing Investment Related Activities first, and of course this must be greater than 50%, also try and use LOS statements that reflect your work in this section.

Thanks Chi Paul. This forum is truly helpful. I will get started on my application.

Hi Brave Ones,

I'll register tomorrow for L3. The work experience I must enter to complete the registration process is the same you guys are talking about the membership submission process?

Can I edit it afterward, meaning not new experience but the old one if I eventually pass L3 and apply for membership?

Hope I explained myself...

Your words as "L3 winners" make me really proud of you guys, believe me! I am feeling extremely tired but I must prepare myself for round 3 starting November 1st...

cheers

Yes but I entered something real quick at that time just to registered for level 3. After you pass, just call them to withdraw the application so you can submit a new one with more detailed work experience. You can request to withdraw application online too. But of course if you do not want to go through that, then put some serious work on the work experience.
