Good Day
I needed some guidance please on how to use my time effectively. I am not working currently hence I have my days free for studying. So far I have been through Book 1 and Book 2. This is my plan for the next 2.5 months. Please let me know if you think it's going to succeed / fail.
I hope to complete going through the next 3 books over the next two weeks. That should take me up to approx 5 April. Thereafter, perhaps, I hope to have 7 weeks remaining before the exam.
I plan to do the following:
Spend 3-4 weeks going through the question bank and honing in on all the concepts/ formula that I have forgotten or am very hazy about. Using each question as an opportunity to go back to the volumes and re-read and understand and remember and let stuff sink in.
Last 3 weeks...I have about 13 exams (13 days) to go through and review.
Last couple days- ethics review and formula and perhaps secret sauce review.
I would like feedback, if possible, please, on my plan.
Thank you.

WOW....When did you start your studying for the June exam?
Also, what's your background? Undergrad or work experience.
I'm trying to study a lot (and have been for a while now), but if you're not working and dedicating 4-6 hours a day for this exam until June 4th, that's PLENTY of time to pass it.作者: spartanag07 时间: 2011-7-13 14:18
Hi there
I started studying just over a week ago. I can only do about 4 hours a day (until my head hurts!! also, the work takes time to get absorbed and understood).
background: Commerce degree undergrad
I just moved to the USA, and quit my job in my home country. I start my MBA in the Fall in the USA.
I have 3.5yrs experience in a bank- (Private Banking, then Capital Markets and lastly, I was trading equities in the Private Clients Securities Division). Even though I have relevant experience, I do not have strong Finance/ Accounting courses behind me.
I know that the next three books are going to be very difficult for me to understand. (especially the Accounting).
