I went back to get a better understanding of income taxes, and I have a small question about an exact definition.
Is "income tax paid" equivalent to "tax expense" with the exception of being on the Statement of Cash Flows rather than the Income Statement?作者: disiz64 时间: 2011-7-13 15:31
No because tax expense on the income statement includes deferred tax payable while income tax paid on the SCF would only include actual taxes paid.
There may be other differences too so the accountants should weigh in with a more complete answer.
