What is your revision strategy?
I have been reading the CFAI notes so far and am yet to finish 3 Study sessions, but I am thinking I should start with Q-bank. One of the mistakes I committed is that I never hit the Q-bank in my prep. I am now thinking that I should set aside 1 hr/day to work thru the Q-bank problems for what I have read so far.
I have not even touched Schewzer notes. Man a lot to cover.
Between Q-bank, Schewser I have a lot of fresh set of problems that I can practice. The question is how do I proceed?
What revision strategy are you or will you guys/girls follow?作者: eagles_dare13 时间: 2011-7-13 15:57
I am plannaing on doing my first pass through the material using only CFAI texts. I keep procrastinating, but I plan ob buying the schwesser books to do my review so I can get a more personable review to help bulk up what i've learned.
I just feel so hopeless right now. I feel like my retention rate is nil... ARGH!作者: Maddin 时间: 2011-7-13 15:57
Its much material what I am doing is doing as much as Qbank as possible and trust me it really drills down the concepts in your head.
So what I do is that I do the reading first take some notes and then take the Qbank after 2-3 times and then use POST IT notes everywhere in my room and every morning when I wake up first thing I do is that I read those all notes.
Already like 30 of them... but it is working for me so far作者: trogulj 时间: 2011-7-13 15:57

sunny,
i used q-bank for L1 & L2, found it useful for those levels,
heard its not that great for L3, do they have essay type questions
in the q-bank as well? and overall do you think it is helpful?
thanks.作者: MonkeyBusiness 时间: 2011-7-13 15:57

Hey noytmikcap,
If you gave Level 1 and 2 you already have more experiance then most of us here.
But yeah as long as the preperation is concerned I think everyone is different but I am just trying to find a method from which I can learn and remember the concepts.
So far what I have observed is that Schweser Qbank is more quantitative then CFA EOC problems.... I never was the best student so I beleive I have to struggle even more. But my target is to do as much practice questions as possible.
*I can potentially be proven wrong on any of this, since I am taking the exam for the first time.
(BTW, they do have Qbank for L3)作者: Micholien 时间: 2011-7-13 15:57
