Hello Everyone,
I need some guidance, I do pretty well on Q-bank but not so good on Schweser practice exams!! What should i do? is the CFA test more like the practice exams or more like Q-bank questions? i find the q-bank questions much more easier.
I have been studying like crazy but seems like im not going to pass i dont know what to do last week thinking about quiting just the practice exams really got me down. ARGGGG!!! HELP some one.作者: Micholien 时间: 2011-7-13 16:29
Go hard with the harder mock exam questions. See what you are weak in, and why you are finding the mock to be harder... Maybe you need to dig deep and learn some of the topics at their roots that's why the mock yielding weaker results.
How did you find the CFAI 2011 Mock? That could be a good indication of what to expect.作者: JRossSter 时间: 2011-7-13 16:29
I suggest you do it as soon as you can so that you have the most time possible until Saturday to review the weak areas.
I find that most questions on the mocks incorporate a couple LOS's and therefore you need to have a sound backbone on the material in order to know where and how to approach it. Doing individual questions seem to be more focused on a single LOS - your brain is like programmed to find solutions based on the LOS in questions, where as the mock's you need to run through the list in your head and pick the right tools to answer the questions.作者: studyn 时间: 2011-7-13 16:29

I was on the cusp for a while and actually had some really ill timed travel for work that set me back but if you just keep at it there's no reason you can't knock it out...I've added about 5 points each week to my mock score
