Just took the CFA Afternoon Mock. HOLY SHIT. 11/18 in ethics, which is just aaaargh considering I rarely get ethics questions wrong. Answers that prioritize disclosure over actual action, then answers that prioritize action over disclosure! What the hell?
Any one else find the afternoon session ridiculous?
To put things in perspective, I got 79% on the morning mock. And that was when I knew nothing in FRAS and derivatives.

Yeah I also got slammed on PM ethics, 12/18. Ethics is typically one of my stronger subjects so was def a surprise. I found the remainder of the PM to be far easier than the AM though. What do you guys think about how there were 2 less FI q's than normal and an extra 2 AI? Do you think that's how it will be for the actual exam?作者: Micholien 时间: 2011-7-13 16:33

i have no idea whether it would be the same in the exam, will just have to wait and see. for me the PM was more difficult and frankly i hope that if one of the two sessions must be difficult on the day, that it is the afternoon one to keep the spirits high!!作者: chetan86 时间: 2011-7-13 16:33

I found the ethics to be more difficult in the PM session. 17/18 in the AM ethics. 12/18 in the PM ethics. After reviewing the answers, I missed two by being foolish, but I didn't find their explanations helpful. I found myself saying "where in the question did it even mention that".

12/18 on both morning and afternoon sessions in ethics. Very difficult. Definitely the area I will be working on before the exam.
