use your calculator for TVM questions. Plus I think if you know the basic idea of TVM, you wouldn't need to remember any of the formula.作者: ishfaque 时间: 2011-7-13 17:10
There are some questions where knowing the formula makes it a lot faster to solve the problem. Usually they come up in sections outside of quant though. For example, a dividend discount model problem in the equity investments section is basically a TVM problem that you have to set up with the formula, it's just not in quant notation.
