Ok this is a tough one my uncle ask me about. He works for our central bank back home and is interested in set up a brand new commodity exchange to allow price discovery for our natural resources and help farmers receive a competitive price for their crops.
I have read about some emerging markets set up similar exchanges but have no clue where to get info or where to even ask/start to get some guidance. Anyone know where I can find some info?

where is your uncle based?
India has a couple of commodity exchanges. But dont know if the regulatory setup in your uncle's country would be similar. Should help to check these out though.

Ivory Coast..we are #1 producer of cocoa. So his goal is to set up and exchange for farmers to allow price discovery and a fair price, which they are not getting right now...what a shame作者: zwjy 时间: 2011-7-13 17:17
