forgive my ignorance, i couldn't find a date on the CFA website...do we just assume it is 1st week of august?
CFAI will send out an email letting us know the date. Last year it was July 26.
It amazes me at how long they take to grade these exams. I guess taking a stack of scantrons and placing them in the machine requires a lot of manual labor and trying to find people who want to do that in today's job market is impossible...
Yeah I'd guess July 25th the Monday of the last week. And ZeroBonus, the CFAI is harsh on cheating in general. I've seen numerous posts on here about people who studied together, but then got busted for "cheating" because their answers were too similar. It's really bizarre. Especially with an easy test like this one you are going to have a lot of similar papers. I'm guessing the extra time is to double check scantrons that are too similar, throw out questions, and .... well I dunno, what else, it's gonna be a long 2 months.
07/25 is my bday, so I'll be the only one that hopes they push it off by a few days or so. Not too confident that this was my year.
Of course it takes till the end of July. Think about it...
If you have to arbitrarilly weight each question to ensure I fail - that may take alot of messing around with the MPS. More than last year because I studied harder this year. But eventually they will find a scientific method to ensure I fail and have enough objective data to back it up.
So thats why it takes until the end of July. Apologies to everyone in advance that it takes this long.

How can they be too similar? Its not like they sat in a group and answered.... That seems too OTT for me. If you studied together then obviously you will know the same amount as the other guy and that is not a violation. But thats the beauty of the CFA organization... they are a dictatorship!
