I did. A few questions I thought could be interpreted to have multiple answers. Anyone else?作者: PieMan 时间: 2011-7-20 22:33
would be interested to know if you get a response. I convinced myself that there was an error on the exam... then I said to myself 'stop, forget what you think you've read and start again'. Turned out to be an insanely cryptic question that doubled back on itself a few times... After re-reading a few times it made enough sense to answer... What's the bet that people who ace CFA exams are really f'kn good at cross words?作者: JonnyKay 时间: 2011-7-20 22:48
didn't bother cuz I'm 90% sure I passed. But one question on swaps I thought was totally worded improperly to the point where it was unsolvable.作者: tobeornottobe 时间: 2011-7-20 23:03
I tried to submit errata on the swaps question. The website kept saying there was some error. I have tried a few times in the past 5 days. Could not succeed in submission.

I tried to submit the questions with Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. I got the same error. Could not succeed.

I know what question you guys are talking about and I could not get the correct answer to save my life. I spent two hours the day before the exam working those specific problems. I had earmarked that particular question to come back to once I had worked through the rest of the exam. I spent 15 minutes scratching my head over that silly question.
If there are errors in the exam then I am sure that the CFAI will find them. I am just theorizing, but I would imagine that on any given question maybe 50% of the candidates get the question right (Maybe they actually knew the answer, made an educated guess, or simply flat out guessed correctly). I would imagine that the CFAI has threshold limits for each question and if 80% of candidates missed the question then that would raise red flags immediately. Here's to hoping.作者: bigredhockey55 时间: 2011-7-21 00:00
As in a red flag that reads "Got 'em! w00t!"?
I am starting to appreciate why the exams are chock full of 'tricks'. CFAI no doubt wants CFA charterholders to be a) knowledgeable AND b) intelligent / critical thinkers. Perhaps these 'tricks' are a good way to weed out those so called 'parrots' that can mindlessly quote definitions and formula.
Anyway, I'm sick of checking AF. I just picked up a new book. Amartya Sen 'On Ethics and Economics'. See you all in July and goodluck!

Haha pretty much the truth. I've got to get away from AF.
