Make sure you have a valid passport. If you register for the exam you will be required to have a valid passport. If you don't you can complete the registration process with bogus numbers, but will need to complete a change request form after obtaining your new passport. Don't wait until it's too late. Getting passport, completing change request, and hoping it get processed on time and correctly might add unwanted stress. Level 2 is rough enough already.作者: cfa10yrplan 时间: 2011-10-14 18:07

Thanks bud!
But this rule was instated for June 2011 exam as well yet I saw many people bring their driver's license as proof of ID作者: noel 时间: 2011-10-14 18:18

You are wrong.
It was actually instated on January 2011 when you apply to sit for an exam. So people who applied for the exam prior to January 2011 for the June 2011 exam can still bring their drivers license; which is what I did. I brought my passport incase but I didn't need a passport to apply for the exam as I applied in 2010.
But that's the last of it. now if you apply for any exams, you need a passport. So you must bring a passport.作者: yuoska 时间: 2011-10-14 18:23

And you think the proctors knew when we registered? Regardless, if that was the case then it explains why I saw a lot of driver's licenses. I guess starting Dec '11 its passport only??
