The syllabus is assessed by a three-hour paperbasedexamination.
Section A
This section contains one multi-partquestion basedon a case study scenario. The question is worth 50marks.The question will be firmly based oncapabilities defined in sections A, B and C of thesyllabus, supported by capabilities defined insections H and I of the syllabus. It will occasionallybe supported by capabilities defined in sections D,E, F and G of the syllabus. The case study scenariowill always include quantitative information,whichmight be financial data.
Section B
This section of the examination paper will containthree discrete questions, each worth 25 marks. Thecandidatemust answer twoquestions in thissection. At least two of the questions in this sectionwill be based on capabilities defined in sections D,E, F, G and I of the syllabus. At most, one questionin this section will be based on capabilities definedin sections A, B and C of the syllabus. Capabilitiesdefined in section H of the syllabus may be used tosupport questions in this section.
