Does someone have an example where civil disobedience would be a violation? Would you be in violation if you were arrested for drinking and driving? What if you were arrested for being drunk in public?作者: Colum 时间: 2013-3-30 20:42
I’ve only seen it mentioned as not being a violation for being arrested for being part of a “non-violent protest.”作者: genuinecfa 时间: 2013-3-30 20:42
relevant standard is I(D) misconduct. The text refers to professional conduct … or commit any act that reflects adversely on their professional reputation, integrity or competence.
It says abusing alcohol during business hours COULD constitute a violation since determiental on ability to fulfill professional responsibilites.
In my opinion:
civil disobedience, peaceful demonstration, political disagreement: No problem.
arrested for being drunk, driving,.. problem during business hours, could be problem if outside business hrs if reflect badly on their professional reputation (together with clients, generating headlines,..)
